NC WHEELCHAIR PROGRAM

What is the American Wheelchair Mission? The American Wheelchair Mission is an or-ganization within the Knights of Columbus that provides mobility to those who have who have lost the ability to walk because of natural disasters, illness, accident or just old age and have lost the ability to walk.

By using council fund raising, private or individual donation and involving sponsoring churches the Knights can purchase wheelchairs valued for as much as $500.00 for as little as $150.00 when they are purchased by 100 or 200 count containers.

Our NC State Council has joined in the effort and is encouraging 100% involvement for councils in the state. Grand Knights and others seeking additional information may contact me at navydaze@comporium.net.
